As a bartender through college, I understood more than most the value of a delicious, low-calorie cocktail that won't leave you feeling sluggish the next day. I finally decided to own that role and be intentional about it. In the process of launching my first business right out of undergrad, I realized most of the hard seltzer consumers are not aware of effortless tricks that can make your drinks tastier, healthier, and more functional for your lifestyle.
I created PIVOT Electrolyte Vodka Seltzer with a mission to give others a taste of what goes on in my mind, then made it more lifestyle-friendly including ingredients to help minimize the negative effects of dehydration that drinking may cause. An emerging startup from Kent State University's 2020 Entrepreneurship program. Tasked with the responsibility of starting a business during the career program that consists of both junior and senior year of undergrad studies. Students are required to create and execute their own business plans. With the preconceived date of launch to be typically graduation, the United States was hit with COVID-19.
